 Roger Moody  Chief Pilot | Chief Flight Instructor - roger@v2helicopters.com.au  Roger is a highly experienced pilot with thousands of flying hours experience in countries all over the world. As Chief Pilot, Chief Flying Instructor and in-house ATO (Authorised Testing Officer) Roger provides his students with the skills and training at the highest level of instruction. This is supported by a passion for helicopter flying evident in his training. Roger has obtained his ATPL, Low Level, Sling and Night ratings together with endorsements in numerous piston and turbine helicopters.

As an extremely successful businessman for many years, Mark’s passion for flying and photography developed into V² Helicopters. As a Commercial pilot, Mark leads an experienced group of photographic professionals to provide the best in aerial photography. Owning a Sikorsky 300CBi, a Robinson R44 and a AS350 SD , used as aerial photography platforms, Mark’s commitment and passion inspires innovation in providing first class photographic services.


Ken Amess Grade I Flight Instructor - Ken@v2helicopters.com.au

Ken is a grade 1 Flight instructor with over 18,000 flying hours and over 8,00o of them instructing alone. He has worked in many sectors of the industry including mining and mustering. He is rated on  many helicopters including Bell Jet/Long Ranger, Robinson R44,Robinson R22 and Hughes 300.

As an experienced aerial photography and charter pilot with hundreds of hours, Shane joined V² Helicopters at its inception as the Flight School Coordinator. He has recently attained his Grade II flight instructor rating and also has a passion for teaching. As a current charter pilot the experience he brings to instructing is fresh and innovative.

After completing his Commercial Pilots licence with V² Helicopters, Oliver has been working to bring the students a fresh perspective as a junior pilot in our flying school. Oliver shows great potential in becoming a first class pilot for V² Helicopters as he is a former student of Roger Moody.

Anthony has over 8 years experience within the photography industry. The last four years has seen him focus on Aerial Photography & Videography. Anthony has extensive aerial experience with over 3000 hours in helicopters, professionally, taking video and photos. He continues to constantly excel and exceed what’s thought to be possible employing a fresh perspective to every new project.
