Full Time Theory Starts March 5th

V² Helicopters is introducing full time intergrated day theory beginning 5th March. This offers students a chance to complete the theory aspect of a licence whilst having days set aside for flight training.

Tuesday to Thursday (8am-5:30pm) are set as theory days and Monday and Friday are flying days.

The cost for the course $3000 and runs for 16 weeks.

Cheap Turbine Endorsements

V² Helicopters is happy to announce that we are offering turbine endorsements at heavily reduced rates. For those who need to undergo an initial turbine endorsement, you must complete a minimum of 5 hours in the aircraft. For those who have undergone the initial training, a minimum of 3 hours is needed to cover the endorsement.

The endorsement rates for our Bell OH-58 and Eurocopter AS350 Super D are as follows:

Bell OH-58 Kiowa – $895/hr + GST ($984.50/hr). Endorsement covers OH-58, 206 Jetranger and 206L Longranger

Eurocopter AS350SD – $1795/hr + GST ($1974.50/hr). Endrosement covers AS350 BA/B2/B3/B4/SD/SD2.

Turbine Endorsements Available NOW

V² Helicopters is offering endorsements in either of our turbine aircraft.

Bell OH-58 Kiowa (B206/206L) – $970/hr + GST
Eurocopter As350 Squirrel – $1975/hr + GST

Note that current CPL students are GST exempt.

To complete an endorsement, you must complete an inhouse exam as well as a minimum of 3 hours per type or 5 hours if you have not had previous experience in that rating of helicopter.

As one of our Robinson R44 Helicopters is due for its Robinson 12 year or 2200 hour rebuild, V² Helicopters is offering heavily discounted rates endorsements.

The endorsement rate for the R44 is $620 per hour + GST (min 3 hours).

10 hour blocks are available in the R44 at $590 per hour +GST.

Robinson R44 Fulltime Flight Training Course Available NOW

As one of our Robinson R44 Helicopters is due for its Robinson 12 year or 2200 hour rebuild, V² Helicopters is offering heavily discounted rates for students wanting to complete a fulltime flight training course.

Completing a license made up entirely of R44 flight time has benifits to both Private and Commercial Pilots. For private pilots, the R44 is big enough to take the family away for a trip and for commercial pilots, the R44 is the first helicopter you will fly as a charter pilot and 105 hours in it will be tempting to employers.

We are offering the Robinson R44 at $590/ hour for both Commercial and Private Helicopter pilot students. The training course must be completed by the 5th of April. Note that Private License students will be charged GST.

We also offer a fulltime night theory course as well so if you haven’t started any training NOW is the perfect time.

Fulltime Flight Training Package Available NOW

We are currently seeking 3 full time commercial license students to start immediately.

To be deemed a full time student, you must be here 5 days out of 7. We would assume that you would finish your course with the minimum 105hrs within 3 months (weather permitting).However if you work remotely we would accept that you may work on a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off basis. We would consider this full time.

Please note you would have to complete your 7 theory subjects by the 105th hour. A theory school is available.

With this package, you get 105hrs of flight time in either a Robinson R22 and/or Sikorsky S-300CBi, AFT distance education theory package, a 16GB 3G iPad 2 with 1 years subscription Oz Runways and CASA Air law books (CAR, CAO, AIP).

Half of the cost must be paid for before commencement of the course.

NB Ipad delivered with the first half of course cost, CASA Air Law books delivered with second half of course cost.
